More Art

Our latest homework assignment in Drawing II was to pick a horror movie poster and re-draw it with a few changes that make it your own, including putting yourself and a friend or family member in it. This is what I came up with:


This is what it looks like right now, hanging up at school, next to some of my classmates work.


And this is what I had to do for my Design II class. It is a planar sculpture.


I think it turned out well, but we'll see what my teacher thinks. (No grade just yet.)


Anyways, fun stuff. A lot of work, but fun.

HOW did you draw this and not have nightmares??? This brings back nightmares of Texas... *shudder* The planar sculpture is amazing, I would buy it as a puzzle fo my kids. I love it. They ae all awesome.

Well, since Rachel's not answering, I will. Yes that is definitely the right park. But the day we saw the centipedes, the lake was flooded all the way up to the tree line. Probably why all the centipede were out and about-- they weren't used to having so many people walking around in their territory. It is a day that will haunt me forever. (Though it was fun, actually.)
