Well, no doubt after that last post some of you are probably confused. You are thinking maybe that Hawaii is a beautiful, wonderful place to live. In order to clear things up, I have drawn a picture of the reality of the situation. Do not click on this image if you have a weak stomach. But also do not not click on it if you want to have a realistic idea of what it's like to live in a land infested by the most horrible creatures alive.

Oh no... looks like the bugs in Texas!
Great picture. Glad to see you are drawing.
I did draw these centipedes more like the Texas ones, to be honest. The ones here are a bit more plain looking. (Though still frightening and repulsive.)
Sarah,
I remember camping at Bellows Beach and a fellow camper warned us about the centipedes being especially bad if placing the tent under the trees. Fortunately, we hadn't placed ours directly under the trees so we didn't have a problem. I also remember doing yard work and running into the centipedes on many occasions. I definitely enjoy the lack of *critters* now that that we live in the northeast.
I was actually just thinking that it is lovely to live somewhere where the scariest critter around in the grey mouse. My first thought was, though, COOL Sarah still draws.
ROFL
I'm also glad to see you're still an artist...and now a blogger to. What can't you do? ;)
